Using a CardDAV address book

To add such an address book, perform the following steps:

  1. Click File ▸ New ▸ Address Book.

  2. Select the type CardDAV.

  3. To discover the address books, announced by the server, enter the server address as URL and optionally User, then click on Find Address Books. Select the address book. This prefills the fields Name and URL. The step is optional, and you can overwrite all the discovered settings.

  4. Introduzca el nombre que quiera.

  5. Escriba la dirección en el campo URL.

  6. Elija Usar una conexión segura si se quiere conectar de forma segura.

  7. Introduzca su nombre de usuario.

  8. Pulse Aceptar.

The address book will be added to the list of address books in Evolution, GNOME Contacts.
